During 2008 and 2009 Kanza Construction re-constructed much of the sub-grade on KCS's historic Victoria to Rosenberg line. Kanza moved tons of earth and provided the needed soil stabilization to restore the sub-grade to the specifications required for the expected railcar loads. Prior to the line re-opening in June 2009 Kanza Tampers put the finishing lift of the track surface. After many years of non-use, heavy traffic moves along today safely at speeds up to 50 mph.
